It's said that the Ministry of Knowledge Economy plans to spend 100 million won or around 89-thousand US dollars to change 10-thousand electronic signages to LED this year.

At present, near 90% of electronic signages using fluorescent Lighting are installed at some 5.2 million businesses across the nation. And Nearly 90 percent of the signs are being used by merchants who cannot afford the energy-efficient, but costly LED signs.
